"Art in the Holler"

Thank you to all who supported us for our innaugural "Art in the Holler" festival.  We had such a great time.  We were able to make a donation of $150 to the Rutherford Humane Society and give away many prizes and art supplies to all the children who attended.  We had 225 children enter our art contest and the entries circled the little "smoking barn" in the middle of our meadow. 
This year we have contacted the Lake Lure Fall Festival committee and they have agreed to let us hold our art contest within their festival.  They seem to be very excited and are hoping to combine our art contest with a section of the festival where they will have for sale  crafts made by children in the area.  We feel that our "Art in the Holler" art contest can serve our community better in this venue.
